Our Classes

Movement for every body and every mood

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates is an exercise method focused on building core strength, improving posture, and enhancing flexibility. Performed on a mat using body weight, it emphasizes controlled movements and mindful breathing. This practice helps develop a strong, balanced body and supports overall mobility and stability. It's suitable for all fitness levels and can be easily modified to individual needs.

Yin Yoga

Yin is a slow and grounding practice that invites you to soften, slow down, and turn inward. Poses are held for several minutes, allowing the body to gently open while creating space in the deeper connective tissues.
This class offers a calm and nourishing experience, supporting flexibility, relaxation, and a quiet mind while using all sorts of probs!

Hatha Vinyasa

A dynamic hatha vinyasa  flow with a strong focus on strength and stretching, brought to you with a lot of love and insights of the Jivamukti tradition, including meditation and breathwork under an uplifting soundtrack.

Gentle Flow

Gentle Yoga is a soft, accessible practice suitable for all levels and especially welcoming for beginners. The class focuses on mindful stretching and slow, flowing movements that help you build strength and mobility without intensity.
With an emphasis on ease and breath, you move smoothly from one posture to the next, creating space in the body while staying grounded and supported.

Barre

Private Classes

Start your movement journey at your pace. We would love to guide you while you deep your practice & your knowledge. Get in contact for a private, duo or small group class - It’s also possible to rent the studio.

Meet the teachers

Lauren

Lauren is the founder of JOY and leads with warmth and intention. Her classes are grounding, accessible, and deeply centred around breath. She has been teaching yoga for over 8 years across Belgium and internationally.

Meet Lauren

Founder & teacher

My yoga journey started during my first big trip I undertook just after my studies. When I moved to Barcelona — where I lived and worked for 4 years — I entered a yoga studio where I discovered Jivamukti classes and never left.

In October 2021 I completed my 300 Jivamukti teacher training in addition to my 200 Ashtanga Vinyasa during my trip to Thailand in 2019. In November 2021 I took a short sabbatical in Mexico to teach Jivamukti, and I took the time to create Journey of Yoga — read JOY.

Early 2024 I picked up Mat Pilates due to a wrist injury which made me adapt my own yoga practice. I fell in love with this practice and added pilates to my teachings!

With Journey Of Yoga I would like to take you on an exploration in your body, mind and soul. JOY ❤️
